You wanted em' you got em'
Quite a few of our friends and family have requested some photos from the wedding. Here are some more from Bob Mitchell's 450 official photos.
Before the act.
A picture of the view out the front.
Us as we emerge man and wife.
The couple with the respective parents... Arthur & Elizabeth, Jim & Jean:
Kim, Andrew, Karen & James:
Karen, the Maid of Honour, with her parents and us.
A picture of my groomsman, both suited and undercover
And finally a rather fun older guest holds court with all the ladies.
We have many more and that is just a taster.

Rob's shots
Rob "Bassist/ladies man/bon vivant" Mallows has a nice collection of shots from the wedding. Its a good collection of shots of all of the events. The only bloody annoying thing is that all the shots he has of me is on the damn 22 (pump-action).

Back from Cancun
Tropical stormy Cancun is the correct description it has to be said. We had some rather nasty weather towards the end of our stay and it is continuing well into next week. Of course, there are pictures. We met a few honeymooning couples from the UK. The storm has turned in Tropical Storm Barry. Here is Barry collecting himself.
Mater has been busy while we were away. She posted a wedding announcement in both The Times and The Telegraph.
Here are a few photos from the honeymoon with shots of Kim, Debbie & Beca, Andrew, Paul & Angus. There is also a shot of the electic harpist in the main bar. I could not get him to do any Metallica alas but he was quite good. Paul is quite to photo-guy and his shots are here.
And lastly here is a pic of the special decoration we got as a honeymoon couple in our room. There was chilled champers in the lounge area.
The weather followed us to Maine as you can tell from this shot near the parent's house.

Wedding Beer
During the course of the wedding week the beer most often consumered was Geary's Hampshire Ale which got the better of a few people with its 7%. The other beer that was most prevalent was Gritty's Pub Style the cask conditioned variety on tap. Thanks to Gritty's Freeport Pub, Jamieson's Tavern (Dr Hyde is their house ale) and Broad Arrow Tavern for taking care of a bunch of wayward Brits, musos and political hacks. We hope we did our bit to keep you lot in the black this year.
My best man
Copious thanks to my best man James Elder. He was the consumate best man in organisation, appearance and behaviour. He managed to turn my groomsman (both uniformed and un-uniformed) into a crack team able to handle all their duties with aplomb. I could have picked no better man for the gig. It is patently clear why Sir Edward valued James so much. He even proved adept with a Winchester bolt-action. He made the ladies of all ages swoon just a tad as well.
